Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Beam (the "Service"), operated by Ten Anchors ("Ten Anchors", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By continuing to access or use the Service, you confirm that you accept these Terms and that you agree to comply with them. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business, and that you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

2. The Service

Beam is a project-management and communication platform that connects contractors with their clients — including messaging, timelines and milestones, vision boards, documents, change orders, and a client-facing portal.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
• Send spam or infringe the intellectual property rights of others;
• Interfere with or compromise the security of the Service, including by introducing malware, probing, scanning, or scraping; or
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, data, or accounts.

5. Intellectual property

Ten Anchors retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its software, documentation, and branding. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or circumvent its technical limits.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis depending on the option you select. Payments are securely processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

7. Payment processing

Payment card details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Your purchase is subject to Stripe's applicable terms in addition to these Terms.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and Ten Anchors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
