Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2, 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Beam (the "Service"), operated by Ten Anchors ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Authority and Eligibility

You represent that you are at least 18 years old and, if accepting these Terms on behalf of a business, that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. The Service

Beam is a project management platform that connects contractors and clients through messaging, collaborative vision boards, and milestone tracking. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Specifically, you must not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes, fraud, or spam
  • Infringe intellectual property rights of others
  • Interfere with the security of the Service (malware, probing, scraping)
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service
  • Circumvent technical limits or restrictions

5. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.

6. Intellectual Property

Ten Anchors retains all ownership of the Service, including its software, documentation, and branding. You retain ownership of content you upload, but grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

7. Payments and Subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting Paddle at paddle.net.

8. Service Level

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance of the Service. We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for purpose to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where required by law.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. Upon termination, you will have a reasonable window to export your data, after which it may be deleted.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Ten Anchors against claims arising from your content, unlawful use of the Service, or violations of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ten Anchors is established. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
